car movement in parking lot.

is there a way to move cars from spots in the parkinglot or do i need to bring them back to the garage first. i want all cars in order. so i want to have ford next to ford and dodge next to dodge and so on.

You can't move them around or assign them permanent spots within the parking, You can move them to the garage and back in order to try and get them into the parking order you want. Unfortunately though in most cases a car moved to the garage does not get the same parking spot when you send it back, so any time you want to bring the car to the garage to drive it or tinker with it the order in the parking lot will probably be altered.

i wont pay for any DLC until i can put my cars in order in my parking this is stupid

Unfortunately there is no possibility in the game, but the function is on the wish list since the release.

Each parking lot has 12 spots.... 1 thru 12 and cars get assigned to the first available spot when you move them from the garage. So, lets say you have a charger in spot 3 and you move it to garage. That is the spot that is open now. In the list it, it doesn't show a gap between the cars but, it's there. So, the next car you send to the garage will go into spot 3. With this in mind, you can bring cars into garage and send other's back to parking to take their place. You just have to keep a mental note in mind of which spot is open and you can organize your cars. It's a bit tedious but, I have 12 lots and all my cars are in order by name. Yeah... guess I'm a bit ocd like that.... lol.
