It would appear that Steam cloud, while it exists for precisely this purpose, will not in fact transfer games between the two. I have been trying to find my save game files, however, without success. The entire folder for this game on a Mac, is quite odd.
You are also not able to change your garage banner in a Mac... or drive on mod tracks... or access their mod maker utility...
Everything else seems to work pretty well. Mod cars work fine... minor complaints.
I figured I would respond since the typical response in these forums for Mac users seems to be, "hey stupid, no one plays games on Mac, are you inbred?"
I would like to assure you that I don't believe you are inbred whatsoever.
So, for what it's worth, for all of the people asking these questions in Feb 2019, if you haven't died of corona or been killed in a mass riot, CMS18 plays pretty well on a Mac, but you will have some limitations.
I am happy to update that I have found the save game files for mac.
They are under your Library (press option key and dropdown "go"). Then Application Support/Car Mechanic Simulator 2018.
The folders marked "profiles" are your saves.
You can then copy the entire folder, then transfer them to your PC slots. The folders are named differently, but just transfer all the contents. I just tested and everything seems to be find and just how I left it on my mac.
