1.5.22 OPEN BETA - ENGINE SWAPS

We are releasing patch 1.5.22 as a open beta for everyone. You are welcome to join beta if you wish so

Changelog :
- ENGINE SWAPS
- UI improvements
- performance optimizations

To access beta follow this steps :

0) backup your save games

1) Go into game properties in Steam
2) Select BETAS tab
3) Enter password into beta access field :
cms18betapass
4) From drop down list below you should be able to choose "beta - Beta Test"
5) Close properties menu
6) Steam should now update your game and start downloading beta version (1.5.22)

You can report issues or ask questions here in this topic, or create new one with [1522beta] add on in topic.

Can You explain how the engine swap should work? Are there any limitations?

On the right in car info you have swap option and then is write which engine is mach to car. Next put together all engine parts and put engine in car. Enjoy.

We test beta 3 in like 6-8 different PCs and all of them gain some FPS from last release version. So it could be issue with your rig. Let us informed please

for me it's better performance
i had between 28 to 32 fps
now i have between 28 to 38 fps

btw. there is missing label GUI_swap - on car info

Right Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 in your game library, click Properties at the bottom, and click the Beta tab.

Sorry to say there is for sure a huge FPS loss with this latest update.

I have Screen shot of getting over 100 FPS on the 1.5.20 hf1.
The Latest beta 4 only gets a max of 72 FPS.

so, for my ATI is better performance, but for Your nvidia is worst :(
