Any good without DLC'S ?
I like the idea of this but if it's reliant on DLC then it's a no from me. Any insight grateful.

For what the game is - yes. The DLCs just add more car variety and in some cases more parts. There are plenty of modded cars to add into the game for free. Most DLCs are very cheap and their on sale right now - most are only about $3 now.

Dodge, Plymouth and Ford dlc are highly recommended.
Tuning dlc is free.

It really depends upon how you want to play the game. If all you want is the basic with free tuning DLC, or a few of the DLC cars and engines then you can do so.

But if you're big into the mods, you need to look to the right of description of each one and see what all DLCs they require. Any mod that requires a DLC that you don't have could be without engines or the pictured wheels, or it may not work at all.

Personally I think mods are the strength of the game, so I have all DLCs and think the engines alone are worth the price - just to be able to use all mods without issues - but that's really up to each user. :)
