welcome to my world. The biggest reason I all but stopped playing is because the workshop doesn't work for me at all. I use to be able to get around it using the old move cars and stuff to the game folder but since there is no folder for maps I was never able to play them.
There never was a folder for maps. I'm from back before workshop when you had to paste mods into the game folder. Maps came after workshop so there is no place to paste them. I've tried a whole list of different folder names to try and get it to work but in the end I gave up. To be honest I don't even know if you can use the paste cars in cars folder trick anymore. They had talked about removing that ability a long time ago and I'm just not motivated to try. I shouldn't have to jump through hoops because their game is broken.
ill figure it out
Also need internet connection to use workshop items
that where it is
now i remeber im the satsuma from msc
Yes, you can put mod cars directly into the games file folders. Inside the CMS data folder is a folder named cars where you can drop your mod cars into it. But, yeah.... there still isn't a place for maps so you HAVE to be in ONLINE mode and subscribed through the Workshop for a map to access that map from the garage door. Really wish this would get changed also. I always put everything directly into my game folders and play in Steams' OFFLINE mode.
