Lotus Elise rear exhaust

I'm wondering if there is a trick to removing an old damaged "Rear Exaust Section (Elise)"
I've tried just about every combination of lift up/down, shell on/off.. engine in or out etc.

I'm on expert mode and can't find any discussion about it. So, not sure if it's a bug or I'm just doing it wrong :)

if you want to take them off, you must click in engine bay and the next click to exaust.

Thanks heaps. I'm amazed with everything I tried, I somehow never managed to click on the engine first then select the pipe.
