Engine Crane not working properly

I'm doing a normal job, reassembled completely a V8 1carb OHV engine, took it off the mounting and when I select the engine crane to put it back in the car, it says no object to work with... am I doing something wrong, it never did this before. Please check

Similar thing last night. I took a stock 6 out of a Flamo and when I put it on the stand it flashed and disappeared. I was only going to strip it for parts so it wasn't a great loss, but I'm going to save before engine transfers until this gets worked out.

I have the same issue everytime I have to use the crane as well as the control of the crane is buggy

Are you guys usuing mods? Modders need to update their cars after the new patch first.. Try playing in Safe Mode and see what will happen.

And another question I have to ask.. Are you sure you are using the crane the way it is supposed to be used? I have to admit that this crane feature is a bit strange and beginners need some time to get used to it.

I played yesterday with the crane, and I'm messing around with it and some engines right now and I have zero issues.

Yes I am using the crane as it should be and no I'm not using a mod as I'm working on a Pagani right now and it happened again. I took the v12 out of the car using the crane, put it on the mount, disassembled it completely, repaired it, reassembled it, took it off the mount and when I selected the crane to put the engine back in the car, it said "no item to work with" again. I believe it is a bug that'll have to be adressed. The only way i managed to finish the car was to undo all my work, disassemble the engine completely and reassemble it inside the car which is a real annoyance. Please fix

and you still have your pagani engine in inventory? can you send us your savegame? [e-mail]

Yes I was clearly in my inventory, first slot in the inventory, unfortunately it's too late now to see because I've finished the job and I wrote my report after I was done after I saved upon completion, do you still want my savegame? and if so, where do i find it?
