NEW UPDATE, FIX FOR CRASH

To fix the bug that stops the game from starting,

1. Right click CMS18 under you library and go down to "Properties"

2. Once you open up the properties, go to the "Local Files" tab

3. Then click on "Verify integrity of game files"

This should take a while to load and update you game. Once finished, it should work like it did for me. If not do mention in the comments to let me and others know. Hope this helps :)

Not working fine at all.. Game crashes after beeing on speedtrack, when i click return to garage the game crashes, 4-5th time already. And then it is that major loading time when starting the game. Just horrible

im having a problem after the update, where my DLC are not working anymore, iv uninstalled the game, Verify files, un tick the DLC and ticked them, and still nothing so if anyone has any ideas that would be great

I've got a problem directly with the update in Steam. I was downloading the very last update (09/28/2018) on Steam, which weighs about 100+Mb, but my antivirus told me there was a hazardous scheme on one file, so the update stopped downloading on Steam, while saying in the Downloads part "error of writing on the disk". I tried verifying game cache, it told me there were 3 wrong files, but now the update doesn't want to resume, it says "not enough permissions for the folder" something like that in the Downloads.
Can you guys help me ? Also tell me if I've got to save my games or profiles if you're suggesting a solution because I'm currently still recording a serial on the game for YouTube with many cars so I would like to retrieve my games after having fixed the problem... Thanks in advance !

CMS.exe stops responding before title screen. No mods, clean reinstall. 256 hrs in, took a break, saw engine swap became a reality, reinstalled.... now this. Anyone else? I see others having random problems with this last patch.

did you enable them from the title menu in game?

the game is lagy and take a lot of time loading , if i enter thr garage it take a lot of time also if i entrt the parking it take a lot of time loading . PLZ fix that

This game has a Memory leak so bad, it's actually crashing my whole computer. Windows says the crash was caused due to running out of memory. Now I have 16GB of ram, that should be more than enough to run this game without filling up my RAM. This crash is happening Only when running CMS2018. It would play fine for a few minutes and then my screen will go black, and this wierd sound loop would play that sounds like buzzing. And My whole system would be locked up, and unresponsive. the only way to stop this crash state is a hard reboot. I really like CMS2018. but this latest patch has made it unplayable.
