How does everyone make custom license plates? (I WANT TO KNOW) if it's simple of course.

I have seen few plates with custom pictures and stuff, how does everyone do it? I'm being honest, I just want to know if making custom plates are simple and don't require alot of applications that could possibly screw up my PC.

It's just a simple picture with the dimensions of 512x256 pixels. Format is png.

You have to place it in <YOUR STEAM FOLDER>\steamapps\common\Car Mechanic Simulator 2018\cms2018_Data\StreamingAssets\LicensePlates\

For example: MDE Racing Team [#000000].png

You can choose the name you want. [#000000] gives the color of the text (coded in hex-format) In this case black color

Just rename your png-file.

ok I did one and it worked, but it is kinda hard to get certain images like forza and stuff, can't you shrink large images to the appropiate size also?

You can use whatever image you want. But you will probably get quality issues if the original image is too large.
Maybe it is possible to use imagesizes for the license plate of 1024x512, 2048x1024, ... but I don't try it before.
