Radio: How To Add Your Own Music

I'm sure this is already here, but when I did a search for the word "radio" it didn't show up. So I'm posting this in case someone else also can't figure out how to add their own music to the game.

First take your FLAC, WAV, WMAL, TAK, APE, WMAL, OFR, TTA (Or whatever else your music files are.) file and convert them to OGG files. You should be able to do this in your DAW. Or you can search DuckDuckGo (Bing, Yandex), IxQuick, Gibiru (Google), Yippy (Or whatever other search engine you use.) for an audio converter.

Go to your Library where you have the game installed. Mine is here;
Local Disc (C) > Program Files (x86) > Steam

And put your OGG files in this folder;
> steamapps > common > Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 > cms2018_Data > StreamingAssets > Music > User

The next time you start your game, change the radio station to "U-ZER RADIO NO.1" and you'll be able to hear your own music.

Why did the game developers put in songs in the game that have the "F" word in them? My guess is they are bending over backward trying to get parents angry at them in hopes they'll get free advertising from the news media.

seem to not be able to use that radio station. i have 14 songs on it in OGG format, but when i click on the station, nothing happens

If the OGG files are in the "User" folder I don't understand why it doesn't work. Did you close / exit the game. And restart the game before trying the radio station?

Oversensitive? Excessive cussing in songs is a new phenomenon. Music sales used to rely on radio airplay. There is no cussing on AM radio. Which prior to the 1970s (Maybe the 1980s.) is what most cars had. And almost no cussing on FM radio. There are social norms to what is & what is not polite.

A big company like EA or Ubisoft is much less likely to seek negative publicity for publicity sake than a small company.

That is 100% inarguably subjective.

So you use the "F" word in church or when speaking to your parents or a teacher/boss?

As far as I know, the game does not have a "Mature" or "Adults Only" warning label. Using the "F" in a toy marketed toward children is not normally socially acceptable behavior.

Well, personally the f word Is one of my most used words, but in my country it's not really that big of a deal

You can put the Netherlands also on the list, where that word (and other words) will be heard on radio or tv, the whole day trough.

and those words will and is use against teachers, police, bosses, ect.

Naturally any song containing the "F" word is offensive and does not belong in the game without a "Mature" or "Adults Only" warning label on the game. I definitely would have had second thoughts about buying the game if I had known the installed music contained the "F" word in it.

Totally agree do you know which songs i dont play with in game music

If you can give me the songs i will put forwards a request for them to be removed i will also leave message for lead dev about this issue

I'm actually curious what song you are referring to as I've played many many hours with the stock music on and never noticed any swearing in the music.

Not sure I can post a list, I notice at least one song has the "F" word in the title. And I'm only about a third of the way through "Music2". (I don't know if cuss words are allowed on this forum.)

I was hoping there was a music scanning software solution, but I don't know of one. I tried "Musixmatch", but that relies on a database of songs. So I'm listening to each song individually.
