repair with minimum parts 100%
What does this actually mean ? i took off all broken stuff, replaced with new, put back together, but ive still got about 15 red X's, so do i strip the whole car and replace all ?

If you already know which parts should be replaced (names listed), click on the stars after those names in your to-do-list. This will show you exactly which parts have to be removed (broken/worn parts will have blue outline).
That will save you tons of time early game to spot what parts you need to change

Also, you do have a testing track (available since lvl 1) and if your car has ?
take her for a ride there and perform the whole test track. That will reveal some parts maybe that are ? and turn them into known parts with stars to click on.

Also make use of that test path you unlock with lvl4 and perk (the 2 red doors in your garage)
That will reveal even more of those suspension and brakes parts you need to work on.

later on , you will have more tools for electrics, alectronics, tires and engine, make use of them. again they will save you lots of time not needing to strip down the full car when you could have spotted it in 5 minutes (been there done that... so yeah, I know the feeling... my early gameplay was filled with a lot of wasted time not making use of those great tools you have at hand at some point)

It means what it means - repair with 100% parts. If you have red Xs it means you have more work to do. You dont have to replace everything, only the parts listed, with 100%, not 99% parts. You should find them first, ofc. If there is "?" that should tell you the broken parts are not discovered yet. If you already know which parts should be replaced (names listed), click on the stars after those names in your to-do-list. This will show you exactly which parts have to be removed (broken/worn parts will have blue outline).
