Reduce your screen resolution till you mouse works the best without distorting your screen. Then turn down graphics. Yes you loose a small part of your screen but mouse works great. Please let me know if it works for You? It worked great for me.

Thats called having bad performance and not mouse lag

No actually it not the computer. It's s top of the line and mouse has all the settings it can. its a issue in game that they said they would not fix. Search other post or the web about the issue and u will see. It's a game problem. People tried mouse Dpi and it helped but screen resolution is a better FIX.

It's not an issue - it's a feature ;) Blame the consoles.

And I can guarantee you K3 knows what you are talking about, you don't need to tell him to search the web :D

And thx for your input. It could be useful for people with old PCs.

If you use exclusive fullscreen mode the Input lag basically dissapears , I had same issue and it wasn't performance related at least for me since i was getting 150-200 fps at max settings. Using the Exclusive mode really helped in my case.

Newer high performance pc running 150-200 fps 3.5ghz same problem even in new pc this is how you get around the problem and enjoy the game. Mouse dpi and better graphics hardware had little improvements.

This guy and "Not K3" both appear to be wrong. Of course I say this respectfully. I'm running the best gaming setup money can buy, I shred AAA games released in 2018 and 2019 at 120+ FPS in 4k resolution and with zero mouse lag. There is something screwy with CMS 2018 which introduces mouse lag which scales up with screen resolution, at least in some machines. At 4k res, the mouse lag is severe and, for me, irritating as hell.

Interestingly, the mouse lag is not present in all game modes. It disappears for me in some cases, like while walking around the garage, and then reappears while assembling. It's most present at the Main Menu (with options Continue / New Game / etc)

Sidenote, I would say there's nothing wrong with mann making a friendly suggesting to search around so that folks could find the same evidence he did.

And, I had mouse lag on a previous installation which I was able to reduce greatly using a lot of the suggested tips (some maintenance procedures and settings tweaks.) Also, had to do a mouse driver re-install at one point which seemed to eliminate a lot of it. But, Windows updates seemed to have re-introduced a little lag sometimes. However, upon doing a fresh clean install of Windows, I have zero issue with lag now..... oddly enough. So, sometimes I think people maybe having issues with Windows corruption instead when all else doesn't seem to work for them. Just throwing that out there as well.
