Is there a list of car spawn rates with different locations?

Then is it possible to get a Pagani via the junkyard? Because I want to restore a damaged / destroyed pagani so bad and the only ones I found were new ones at the car salon or a near new one at the auction house.

You would need to find line with allowedplaces and add Junkyard to the config files for those cars you want in junkyard

Example:

Allowedplaces=Order.12,Auction,Junkyard,Salon

You can 1) manually modify the configs of the cars or 2) you can use the Curs0r's tool.

1) Your car files are there:

X:\Steam\steamapps\common\Car Mechanic Simulator 2018\cms2018_Data\StreamingAssets\Cars

where X is your hard disk drive. Go to the folder of the car you want to edit. Open the config file with notepad, for example. Search for the following line:

allowedPlaces=Order.2,

there you see the default spawn locations. If you want that the car spawns everywehere, you should add Junkyard, Shed or whatever is missing (but without empty spaces!).

The new line should look like this one:

allowedPlaces=Order.2,Junkyard,Auction,Salon,Shed

Bear in mind:

a) you can seriosly screw up your game if messing around with the config files! Whatever you do, you do it on your own responsibility!
b) you should back up the original config file, before modifying it.
c) there can be more than one config files (for example config and config1). Those are the configs for the different variants of a car.
d) if something goes wrong you can always verify your game data from Steam. Steam will download the default configs for you and you will be able to play normally again.

2) There is a tool which makes all this for you. Take a look here:

I dont know if it is up to date. There are some issues with it. If you use another format different than english UK/US (look in your Control Panel -> Regional and Language Settings -> Format Tab) the tool will screw up all your car values, because UK/US guys use different decimal point...

In order to make it work properly (if you are using different format than US/UK), you should switch to english format in your regional and language settings first, before using the tool. Then, after running the tool, you can switch back to your default language format.

Again, if something goes wrong - > verify your game files and you will get the default configs again.

And once again - whatever you do, you do it AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Cheers!

Is there anyway to change spawns for mod cars?

The configs are the same for mod cars as they are for game cars. Re-read the previous posts. You can change them just the same. Difference is going to be 'where' YOUR mod car configs are kept. If they're from steam workshop....then they'll be under the workshop\content folder for CMS. Otherwise, they'd be in the 'cars' folder with game cars.
