can i put a v12 engine in any car ?
i build a v12 engine to put in a car i bought 2 cars , it seems i can put the engine inside any car , but the v12 fits perfectly inside the engine bay that is for sure

engine swaps are not a thing unless you edit the cars in the editor.

well it works with other types of engine , i just can't put a v12 twin turbo i've spent so much money in special parts for it building it then wen i wanted to put it in a car it wont work
SAD i guess they forgot to implement the engine swamp of the v12

You cannot engine swap anything. Certain vehicles have different varients with different engines, but you can not replace an V6 with a V8, for example.

no but you can replace a v6 for other engine i think its a rotary engine can't remember but there is a website that tells you what cars can have engien swamp

Swapping engines is really my only real complaint about the game. You can't change the engine type. If you build an engine outside the car, you can't just plop it in etc.

no cars can be engine swaped, its not a feature yet

No, only the original engine can be installed into the car

You could copy The config file in The car file you want change engine, and make an engine change in The text.
Take The good write code in another car file who have The engine you want.
Next, édit your new car and verify to adjust parts positions.
Personaly, i make a lot of supercharged, 1carb, 2carb, 3carb change on v8 engine, like that, you don't need to change position.
And with that method i have 3 or 4 Dodge Charger in my collection
