Custom gear box

There is somthing i found called "Tune Parts" i wanted to try it but it says i need a "custom Gear Box" How do i get that? or is it somthing else?

you need the tuning DLC (free) after that you have a custom gearbox shop where you can buy the tunable custom gearboxes

How do I go about customizing the gear box?

right click on the car and select tune parts
