also could you post few screen shots so i can pass it on directly
Now rims... I tend to have a stockplîle way bigger than I will ever make use of lol. Was it usefull ? Definitely not lol.
But sometimes it hurt my feeling less to try a rim to see the look on a single rim I had from junkyard, than buying blindly a full 4 rims set, to see they look awful on the car.
Also on cars I do not keep, as repaired parts are still way cheaper than new one, WHEN YOU PLAY UN-MODDED, money is not as easy if you play the way the game was designed to be played early on that is... So on cars I sell back, it's not unusual that I put 2 different sets of rims on the same car
Now also to OP, know that those big rims on some versions sells for a decent amount once back @100%. So usually I buy the big boys (the black versions for instance) for selling back.
No. Apart from having Dodge and Jeep DLC - I play vanilla unmodded stock.
No. There is no need to provide screenshots, the oversize tyre/rim trend can be observed by the Developers when they spend an hour doing a test run picking up scrap in the scrapyard. Besides, screen shots can be "edited" and cannot be relied on as definitive proof of any fault.
Speaking for myself, I find it a greater challenge to restore a car using the best used and repaired parts I can find. I just finished a Bandit (recovered from the scrapyard yesterday) and sold it for $50,000 today. Anybody can buy all the parts from the shop, restoring= any car in an hour, selling the car for top price. Restoring from used parts to get best sale price is far more difficult and more fun for me. Perhaps you could try used parts restoration too, you may like it.
Agreed - I sell restored oversize rims and tires too, often recovering the full cost of my scrap runs on just the value of unwanted rims, tires and panels. That can be called a big bonus when you finish with lots of free scrap you can use/repair. Would it be more challenging if these high value rims/tires were more rare so you were forced to do more customer orders to recover your dollars? It gets to a point when you don't have to do customer orders anymore and that phone going beeeep becomes annoying. Can we switch it off or take it off the hook?
Good idea! Thank you! I once put a set of very expensive low profile sports tires and black alloy fine fan rims on a GT20 a few days ago, thinking it would look real swish. Nope! It looked awful! Almost $8,000 wasted! Thank goodness its just a game though.
BTW...
I wasn't meaning to be disrespectful, I did sound a bit rough, I apologise. I know you are offering your help and for that I thank you.
but i know normally if i submit something to them they want screen shot all good i made some i will see what they say
Should that action be possible, we then would probably make far better or far oten more use of those big diameter rims.
Also the most players wouldn't restore a car with only used parts - it could be taken days to get the right rims alltogether. Same with the tyres.
And only 50 000 for a bandit? With restoring them to 100% and tuning parts you can scratch nearly the 100 000 barrier.
If you like the way you play, it should be okay with erveryone else, but most of the player want a decent profit for their work.
