Lotus Elise S1 Can't Access Engine

I put the car in the garage the engine is in the rear remove rear cover no matter what level on the lift all the parts in the engine say "access from engine bay" any ideas on how I work on the engine for the Lotus Elise S1?

UPDATE: In case anyone else is having this issue with rear engine cars... enter the front of the car first and attempt to work on a part up front then select an engine part from the back of the car and you can work on it.
