move car to hoist

how does a person move a car in the garage, from inside the doors to the hoist so I can check the brakes, tires, etc.

Inside the wheel you get you select an empty bay then you walk to the hoist and select the lift your car is at.

R-click on the car and choose one of the hoists from the wheel.
