Need an explanation for difference between I4 engine names.

I was wondering, what is the difference between the different I4 engine names, especially the ABU, APZ, AQC, BFM, ABT and BMJ. Do these letters mean anything at all? Do they stand for something? Or do they indicate nothing of any significance?

I4 DOHC ABU Stats: 163HP @6375 rpm,197 Nm @5240 rpm
I4 DOHC APZ Stats: 117HP @5305 rpm, 171Nm @4445 rpm
I4 DOHC AQC Stats: 145HP @5950 rpm, 187 Nm @4930 rpm
I4 DOHC BFM Stats: 278HP @5980 rpm, 380 Nm @3770 rpm

No they are just different names used to differentiate between the various inline 4 engines available throughout the game
