How many total story orders are there?

I was under the impression that there were only 34 story orders. You can imagine my surprise when the 35th came in. Does anybody know how many there are total? I really want to find out if anything cool happens besides the achievement if you complete them all. Thanks in advance.

They may have increased the number of story orders recently. every walkthrough i have seen shows only 34 story orders

How do you know what number you are on?

You get one story car per level, if you're level 14 and you haven't seen a story car in a while, then one shows up a minute after you get level 15, that's car 15.


Here's a list (only a few cars repeat, so if you're really behind on story cars, just do 1 or 2, remember what they were, and you can easily find your place on the list.:

Thank you so much! That is very helpful. I am over level 40. I had been ignoring story missions for a while and just got the urge to finish them.

Its a good goal to have, you get a steam achievement, and all the story cars come with a decent XP bonus, and higher chance to get a lootbox.

What's funny is that I have been working on cars for about 8 years now. I do it as a hobby and daily drive my project cars. I don't take this game in a literal sense and I find it very relaxing. Goals like these are just so much fun for me. Just to earn the achievements and see what I can find. Or how many cases and maps I can amass. Or how much money or xp I can gain if I just put on some music and start fixing. Especially when I am short on cash to work on my real projects lol.

WTF is wrong with this game. i had job 38 : Emden Lotz GT. when i finnished fixing all parts that required it suddenly theres no job and car is mine... and AGAIN no story jobs i fixed it 2 times and it still keeps fckin up over and over idiots cant fix that or they only care about DLCs and "new" CMS

Most likely your game files got corrupted. Or, it's possible your save files got corrupted.....so, first question;
1.) Do you have steam's Cloud Save feature enabled for this game?

If answer is yes, then there's your problem. Steam's cloud save feature is KNOWN to cause save corruption. It's been mentioned in this forum a Cuzillion times.

If answer is No, you may have had an update....either to game or Windows....that corrupted some part of the game or save files for you. If so, it would be recommended to backup your save (Profile0) folder and make sure any mods installed from Workshop are 'Favorited' for easy reference for re-subscribing them. Then unsubscribe all, uninstall game, delete all folders left behind after uninstall--including one's in users AppData folders. Run a registry cleaner app....something like free version of CCleaner....and clear Windows Registry keys for the game. Restart PC, install game, start a new profile / game after adjusting settings and test game out. Then copy your backup save back into the appropriate user's folder and test again.
