Buying vehicles...
Hello friends, I am curious when a good time to buy a vehicle is? and how much money should you have? When you buy a vehicle you obviously can fix it up and auction it off, What is the point in having many vehicles? Just for collections and driving them?

Now there is a workshop, which is really awesome. do they show up in the random orders? or other places? I've browsed it a little, seen one care is only at barns I think.

I'm really not sure about any of this as this is my first CMS game. Loving it but would like some assistance along the way. Thanks in advance.

Barn cars are in somewhat decent condition and you can flip an easy (but small) profit. Junkyard cars require a lot of work to flip a profit, but if you repair parts rather than buy new ones, you make more money and make more profit in the end. I would recommend starting to repair and restore cars when your parts repair chance perk is higher leveled, and when you can repair frames and detail interiors. I've had cars that I can make a $10k profit by just investing $1100 on frame and interior repair alone, with nothing else done to it.

Very nice. Appreciate the info.

I bought a Magnum Tempest in the junkyard for 11k, And sold it for 56k, made about 20k, lot of work but it was fun. Need that level 30 lol

Also, always check the list of engines that fit the given car. In case of Tempest Magnum you can easily build the supercharged, 2carb version while utilising 99% of parts from the 1 carb version. And it pays off well.

Thanks for the reminder. I forget a lot of cars you can engine swap
