How do I cancel a job?
So I'm on the job where I have to find some "unknown parts" in the car. I've practically dismantled the damn thing about six times now and I can't find these "unknown parts" so I just want to give up and go on. But I have no idea on how to get rid of it. Now before you tell me "well duh just click on teh finish order button!!!!!" I have to tell you that THE FREAKIN BUTTON DOESN'T WORK! What the hell?! Can someone help me please?

Ok so as you can't finish the job with any missing part (or unknown part), has to be a story order.

I also suspect as wim1234 said up there, it's either a part that was missing from start, or a part that has to be dismanteled first to find it, but you maybe did not think about really dismanteling (let's say the "order" speak about an engine issue... and sometimes you have to take away the full air filter case... sometimes it's the bottom air filter case...) and as not really "part" of the engine, you do not dismantle that, or vents in the front...

Anyway, as you feed us with very little details, there is a nice guide with french AND english for a good part of missions... so find your mission car, compare the list and yours and tadaaa you should spot your missing part.

I had a part unknown issue where I took every available part off car and put back on and did not discover it however after around 2 hours of messing about with different things I found the part that never shows as discovered it was the clips on distributor cap when I replaced them it went to 100 percent and even tho part was still labelled as unknown it was green a few other parts that may do this is or be hard to discover

Clip A on air filter
Clip b on distributor
Licence plates usually rear
Air filter base
Radiator fan 2 inside housing even tho housing is 100 percent
Very very small window behind mirrors on some cars
Tail lights
Rod caps (drain oil) and remove pan
Wheel hub bearing
Brake cylinder inside calliper
Rubber bushing rear wheel knuckle does not ask you to place it automatically I overlooked this more than a few times

Hope this was some help also make sure you read the job usually they will give you extra info and you can afford to over repair on most jobs for instance one job I had was a guy that had a car in his family for generations and wanted it restored but some parts he was happy to leave rusty I however was not I fully restored the car and still made over 10k from job. And every single car that I work on get free interior detailing as part of my shops promotion gotta add that role play value !
