Also remember that only parts in 15% or better condition can be repaired.

i had a brake caliper that was 21% and i could not repair it. Yes i have the repair table. I am level 13 do certain parts unlock at certain levels? maybe 13 isnt high enuff to fix a caliper. I seen somewhere certain body parts are not untill level 35?

The more recycling skill levels you unlock, the more parts you can repair (15% or above still applies). So yes, calipers might not be possible at L13, don't remember that specifically. And yes, body parts (doors, hoods, fender, bumpers) unlock at the last recycling level (6) at L35. The welder unlocks at L30, which is uses to remove rust from the car body itself.

recycling level you mean repair chance levels? the brack caliper dont need to be takin apart like tires off rims and springs off shock absorbers. because a brake caliper is a group or is it? with the cylinder inside. Thanks vellari i did not know recycling / repair chance levels were that important.

if the repair fails, the part will drop to a random level of condition (usually sub 15%) and after that you can't repair it again, even if it's over 15%.
