humor me. how is having a sandbox mode any different than editing a profile? You are getting end game content without playing the game. Guess what? That is the same as cheating.
Like I stated there is a tool in the mod section that lets you set level and money. Sandbox is not necessary. There are more important things for the devs to be working on like missing content and quality of life stuff for the people who bought the game to play it as it was designed.
I lack the understanding of whats so hard about this game. 13-15 hours to get to the end of the game isn't much. I don't understand why people buy simulators and then complain about playing them.
So i wouldn't really class it as cheating if thats more the way you enjoy the game, i like the grind to get my needed satisfaction when i build cars but others just enjoy the building without the grind, as for acheivements they come when they come i don't play for those silly things as half of them don't work anyway, well they never used too its gotten a little better since they first introduced them.
If I play as a mechanic, *maybe*...
But if I play as a collector..? Hotplace no.
I just want to redo cars. Don't care if I ever touch a bolt. I want to swap rims. Do some paint. Some graphics (if we ever get those). I might do an engine swap or add a turbo/SC. (if we ever get to do that)
It's not cheating. It's *options*. To for play the game the way you like. Maybe we should just do more of that. More playing and less worrying about Larry over there "cheating" his way to a nice 57 wannbe Chevy cuz that's how he rolls.
Cheers..!
(edit: I play as a Mechanic, just playing the Collector devil's advocate)
You talking about the 2015 version or.... CMS 2018? Cuz in 2018 version, you click on the ladder by the wall to customize your shop. You should have leveled your character though and your shop I think... idk.. cuz I didn't even try till after I was already leveled up.
For everyone else--Best suggestion I read here was;
download / install the mod allowing you to select what level and amount of moolah you want.
And, yeah... it's only cheating in the sense that you didn't work your way up the chain as the game was originally designed but, it doesn't matter cuz it's your game to play the way you want.
