Paint codes
Anyone know of a good resource for getting the color codes for the original colors of some of these cars?

For example: painting my Reptilia. It's based off the Corvette C3. Looked up the paint codes for the C3 and I liked "dark red". Uses GM paint code WA6167. Couldn't find a way to know what that is in HSB (Hue, Saturation, Brightness) or RGB or Hex.

A good library of car color codes converted to HSB or anything convertable to HSB would be great for pedants like me. Eventually I found a hex color chart with named colors. These aren't the exact colors, but close enough I guess. FYI "dark red" is HSB (0,100,55).

This site won't give you the codes used by CMS 2018, but it will show you the real color chips for the real versions. This site is where I buy real auto paint.

The color charts are images that could be loaded into Photoshop or similar program. You could then use the eyedropper tool to get the hexcode.

I guess that will have to do.

You can use color codes for Forza Horizon 2 cars from my spreadsheed[docs.google.com].
Column #RGB would be good, just add a # symbol before hex numbers.

PS: Updated with Forza Motorsport 4 car colors - huge list, must cover all needs in factory colors :)

Are they US only? I don't find color code 60 from my Ford (Europe) Mondeo...

Edit: Ford is a thing of its own, you have to research to get a color code out from the code of the type plate (it's not the real color code).
