Trouble remembering needed parts
Hello,

I was just wondering if there is a way to have a mini-window or something with the parts that one needs while searching the tablet/computer.

I had an order with a massive list of needed repairs and I'm lucky to remember three at a time before I have to exit my tablet and look at the list again. The redundancy gives me a headache and I was wondering if that was part of the challenge or if I am just missing something.

I spend more time bouncing between tablet and the parts list than I actually spend repairing the vehicle.

Besides, I'm sure RL mechs can write down their list and they don't need to constantly walk between their customer's car and their computer to order parts because they can't remember over 30 indivdual parts at a time.

Yeah haha, I almost had to do that myself. However, Ward Plattau mentioned the Notes block. You right-click the needed part and select Parts Note section in the pie chart and then when you go to the tablet/cpu there will be a little gold sliver in the upper right hand corner, you click that and there's you list.

Thanks again Ward!

If that note system actually ordered your parts it would be handly. Would simulate calling the parts store and having them delivered.

I don't use it at all. I'd rather carry some inventory and use the T hot key when in Assembly mode to go get the rarer parts when I need them. A lot less wasted time that way, at least for me.
