Can you make electic cars normally or DLC?

What does Electic mean?

I don't know if they would make an electric car DLC, because that eliminates all engine components. If something in the engine breaks, you have to just replace the engine. That would dull down what could be done with those cars a lot

I think he means "electric". So electric cars like Nissan Leaf or Tesla.

And there are different types of hybrids, classical ones like Toyota Prius or plug-ins like Chevrolet Volt (most electric, petrol engine drives a generator as a range extender when you can't load the battery).

Sry, but Im really fed up with all those "green" fanatic maniacs in RL. I dont want their greeny eco crap in THAT game. Keep at least car games clean of those lunatic eco talibans!!

While not techinically impossible to add different types of powerplants (diesel, hybrid or electric) it does require a lot of new engine components. So I would not hold my breath waiting for it.

Currently we do not have the modding tools available to do this ourselves. Afaik we cannot create new parts (yet).

I'm so sick of hybrid electric green garbage. Every invention that has come along to make fuel burn cleaner, remove emmisions and improve performance has been bought and buried. If those technologies had been used, we wouldn't have need to buy all this "new" stuff.

Heck naw, we already have enough of those boring silent slowboxes such as the Teslas, the Rimacs, the Leaf, and other slow electric cars that get creamed by something with an actual engine. We don't need those lame things in video games.

I'd like to see an electric/hybrid dlc. Would also be fun to get some real oldies in there like the steam powered doble or model T if we're looking to mix things up.

Nearly all Teslas can run above 200 km/h (125 mph).
Have vou ever driven above 200 km/h on a normal highway (legally)?

An actual Tesla S outruns the Chargers and Challengers in the game in top speed and acceleration.

Edit: Refueling ist much slower on the Tesla, the Charger would overtake the Tesla (when the Carger has no broken engine due to overheating, many US-cars weren't built for high speeds over long distances).

As the guy above me said, they're most certainly not slow. I agree that they are woefully uninteresting and lack both soul and character, but they aren't slow. I would not be in support of an EV DLC either.

More thought would have to be given to the batteries, like you would replace them probably before the motor.

If it's a brushed motor, replace the brushes.

Charge controller could go bad, maybe solar panel could go bad.

Overall, electric cars have less parts, but they don't have invincible parts.
