I broke down and bought one of these from the Salon brandy new. Swapping out every available performance part is on the to do list... Curious to see if the number comes up the same.
I believe the '57 Chevy is a mod. You could make a Variant of the Delray game car to have a SC engine though, and it would be available in game where ever you allow it to spawn. There are a couple guides and vids on YT that show how to do this. It's not crazy hard for basic stuff on cars with engines that share parts.

Anything past 800hp or so is just a donut machine...
To be fair, that is true in real life aswell unless a car is specifically built to match said hp (vs just dropping in a behemoth engine). Suspension, drivetrain, tires, weight distribution...
the car I posted is still 100% driveable.
Well made mod, in that case. Most default cars tend to spin their wheels.
