Check the car status. Most of the times i fully restore a sakura moon i mis a for or a rodcap. Just run all the diagnose tools untill the parts shows and the cars will get to 100% without tearing it down again.
Try the air filter

Check for clips (airfilter and ignition)
Edit: oh and rubber bushings

Try taking it for a test drive...that might tell you what's missing

Make sure to check clips, the radiator/fans, rubber bushings, the little things you kinds forget to look at

This.
most of the time you can see the missing part greyed out in the list. usual suspects are bushings and clips.

I just had the 1500 refuse to leave because both mirrors and both license plates were missing. None of these items were even on the list...lol.

Road test and Path test (do both) will make the bushings show up. Also, trying to leave the garage and go to the test track will usually tell you what you are missing, it won't let the car leave till you fix that item.

In assmebly mode, scope the car for the white outlines. If it's missing from the car, there will be a white outline where it's supposed to go.

If it's a bushing, it's hiding in a control arm or leaf spring or frame mount. If you didn't see a small white outline on any bushing, use the search for a bad part and look for any hint of red. You may have to disassemble any/all of the control arms to find it.

If you don't have the testors, pull and reinstall the Radiator Fans. There's a glitch with any two step parts, the 2nd part doesn't always register as having been replaced. Doing the Electrical Test will find the Radiator Fans, the Compression test will find Piston Rings.

If you're rebuilding the car to sell, most times it's the Radiator Fans or Piston Rings failing to show after being replaced.

Double check Mirrors, Glass, License Plates, ABS/other underhood components and the Interior.

Failing all of this, there's a white outline you're missing.

Shhh. Don't make it too easy.

Seriously though, this is where you always see Rad Fans and Rings show up greyed out.

I know this is late...very late i just got to this mission and from what i have read in this you missed the one thing they did to make it tricky. THE FUEL TANK, there is no test you can do for it and they made it 27% and the rest of the car is like 46% so if you look at the tank it looks the same as all the other parts. you have to take the tank out to see that it is bad. (thow i think that is dumb because most tanks if they are metal you can see, even plastic ones they will show leaking. I had to do EVERY test, i have all the tools and did the in house and road test, it was the ONLY part i did not show orange. took it off and BOMB that was the part....pi$$ed off yes i was. :) hope this helps anyone in the future.
