there is a tool in the modding forum that lets you modify locations so yes its possible. now be aware I haven't checked recently but I know not too long ago there was an issue with barns using the junk yard table so if you edit newer cars into the junk yard they show up in barns also (this bugs me not sure if its an issue for you).
Program Files / Steamapps / Common / Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 / cms2018_Data / StreamingAssets / Cars.
- open car folder you want to edit.
- open config or config1 or config2 (open with text editor, Notepad wil do fine).
for example Bolt Atlanta got 3 types: V8_stary(config) or V8_sixpack(config1) or
i6_old(config2).
- Look for the line in config: " allowedPlaces=Order.9,Shed,Junkyard,Auction,Salon "
you will find it in the 1st line on top.
If you don't see "junkyard" in it then ad it there and save config.
Same with Shed,Salon and Auction.
Always make backup copy of your config before you edit something , sh!t happens !!
It will not spawn on the first try you enter Junkyard so give it some time ...or maybe it will then it's your lucky day ;)
I did the same with DelrayCustom for Car Salon so now i can buy a new version
in the Salon.
To be honest building a car from scratch is more fun and thats what CMS is all about.
But its pretty awesome te see 0 mileage on a 1957 car :P
I have no idea if this works with all cars so give it a try.
So i hope this wil help.
Good luck

Um... Ever hear of a little thing called Auto Salvage..?
Wrecks, Floods and other assorted disasters only happen to Old Cars..?
As stated above, new cars can and do find their way into yards all the time. The industry of clipping cars thrives on it. Good front half, good back half... And yes, you can put them on a frame machine, weld new unibody structure in and rebuild one.
It's more odd to me to not have the "better" cars available as rusted hulks to simulate damage than it is to have them absent.
