Point to a part you want on the list, go to the wheel menu --> part notes, add to list.
Then go to the shop, click on shopping list, here you go.
in its current state this list is unusable. even old pen and paper style is much better))
As an experienced designer/developer I believe it could very well serve users without breaking the game by including variations of this functionality on the upgrade/skills system. Perhaps start with the ability to drag and drop to a shopping list and then cart(where it removes it from list). A later upgrade could add a shop assistant that proposes a shopping list after each diagnositc/examination step. You would be able to select the option to continue the list to manually shop used/new parts or allow the assistant to order the parts(delivery time shown on the list after).
And maybe when at the store you could click the item in the list and it brings up the buy part popup so you can select how many. Possibly also have an X or similar icon to remove just that item from the list.
Its sad that the devs cant even think of that...
It's just like the extremely frustrating fact that you can't sort the list of parts on the Car Infortmation page.
I suspect the developers' focus lies elsewhere, such as churning out more DLC, rather than fixing/implementing minor features that would enhance gameplay considerably more than any DLC.
