Quick way to add parts to shopping list?
Is there a quick way to add parts to a shopping list while working on a car or, better yet, while examining? Perhaps even on the upgrade path(spend XP and money for an app or shop assistant)?

Every time the game patches I always hope something like this got added. I'm not even sure if the Devs have said anything about chaning how it currently works.

So, part notes in the wheel menu???

Point to a part you want on the list, go to the wheel menu --> part notes, add to list.

Then go to the shop, click on shopping list, here you go.

i'd prefer a possibility to add parts from the car's status menu. waaay more convenient than as it is now. and parts remove option shouldn't remove all parts that have been added, just the last one. there should be a separate option to remove all parts from the list.
in its current state this list is unusable. even old pen and paper style is much better))

The parts list in its current state is useless. Takes too much effort to add parts to it.

Agreed that the current function has almost no practical application.

As an experienced designer/developer I believe it could very well serve users without breaking the game by including variations of this functionality on the upgrade/skills system. Perhaps start with the ability to drag and drop to a shopping list and then cart(where it removes it from list). A later upgrade could add a shop assistant that proposes a shopping list after each diagnositc/examination step. You would be able to select the option to continue the list to manually shop used/new parts or allow the assistant to order the parts(delivery time shown on the list after).

How about where the star icon is to highlight a part's location on the status page, have a pencil or similar icon that can be clicked to add it to the list.

And maybe when at the store you could click the item in the list and it brings up the buy part popup so you can select how many. Possibly also have an X or similar icon to remove just that item from the list.

Its sad that the devs cant even think of that...

I don't believe the developers haven't thought about it, I know the bug for removing the parts has been reported numerous times. This is the bug where instead of removing the part you have selected, it wipes your entire list, despite the words on the dialog saying "Remove Part from List".

It's just like the extremely frustrating fact that you can't sort the list of parts on the Car Infortmation page.

I suspect the developers' focus lies elsewhere, such as churning out more DLC, rather than fixing/implementing minor features that would enhance gameplay considerably more than any DLC.

it makes no sense to even have the shopping list and the list of problems to fix on the car they should be the same♥♥♥♥♥♥as in i can see exactly what i need from what ive found to fix on the car and if ive found all the problems and theyre all there in plain text but just because they arent on some useless shopping list i cant see what i need in the shop????? I ALREADY KNOW WHAT I NEED YOUR LITERALLY JUST MAKING IT HARD TO DO IT
