Definetly can do under 1 minute but I would need to use gamepad and properly learn the track.

It handles better than the R2 but still very tricky.

This one handles very well. Unfortunately it maxes out at 217-218 km/h
and I am to stubborn to buy a new gamepad while my 10 year old Logitech rumblepad II still technically works fine -
and I just can't use it because microsoft wants to push their xbox controller standard -
I can't use my pad.
If the devs decide to support dinput controllers this might change.
That said - and being limited to keyboard controls my best time in an fully restored "Firebird" with an v8 OHC I got to something like 2 minutes or so, because I suck at driving...
That was my only round, just done for the novelity, then I returned to the focus if the game and restored some more cars ^^
Nevertheless auto shifting is really not helping.
