Level 25 - Paint a car but no paintshop?

So, I have just reached level 25 and accepted the story mission (Salem Kieran) but the mission says about painting it factory colour. How can I paint the car without the paintshop? or finish the mission without doing so?

Paint shop is unlocked at level 30. Take some small simple jobs to level up. You can keep that car on the other lift until you get to the point where you can re paint it. You basically went too far in the "story" jobs. If you dont have rrom for that car, and the next car you could move that car to the test path as well. as a third option you could select finish job and just get rid of it. As long as all of the parts are on the car you will get your money back for anything you did replace but will not get any bonus.

If you do take small jobs to level up I would suggest taking jobs for brakes and transmission issues. They tend to deal with the least amount of parts. You can also take body panel jobs however some of them will require you to paint the car so you might not be able to complete that job as well.

well, I was getting a mission every time I leveled. So don not know how I got this before I am ready... Oh well, time to really grind

When you get to level 30, you'll have about enough story jobs waiting to take you to level 31. So at least there's a little upside.

I had the exact same issue. Ironicly, just as I finished a job the game crashed my pc (ntfs.sys issue thing) as it was saving, which tweaked my gamesave (job info and car info were not syncing), so I had to use the recover savegame info in the sticky to fix it. And, since I was there, I just removed that car from my savegame just to get it out of my hair, lol.

I have the same problem. This is also not the first topic to this bug I have already written in all and nowhere there was a reaction of the developers.

I got that one too when I reached level 25 you can't paint til level 30

I don't feel that like a bug, LVL 25 you got 2 lifts, you can do other jobs on lift B while the mission car is waiting on lift A. Then when you're LVL30 you do the mission ...

Let me put it in another words: no matter you've reached 25 and purchased the perk, you still have only ONE lift available. Right?

Hardly a bug, but slightly annoying. You can still use both lifts, though, just let the story mission car rest at the front gates. You can have cars there AND on the lifts...

I'm at level 30 and I have unlock the paintshop. I try to paint the car, but I don't know how to set the origin color. So I can't finish this job...

Uhm... you click on "set to factory" when you're in the paint shop?
