Unlocking the engine stand?
I would like to start using the engine stand but it says I must frist unlock it to use. Is this something tied to a certain level?

I should mention I am Lvl 22 and can use the crane but not the stand.

it's ont the 2nd big upgrade (LVL 12)

The engine stand should be unlocked from the start but the crane is unlocked at level 15.

I have the crane unlocked and I am able to use it but not the stand.

Engine crane and stand seems pretty buggy at the moment.

You have to have the second garage upgrade in the toolbox to have access to it.

Move the crane to the car, click the crane, hit remove motor. May have to unbolt the transmission.

The entire engine will be in your inventory as one unit.

Go to the engine stand, click it, click mount engine.

Now as far as I know it's a bit buggy, if you remove the block from the stand, you won't be able to mount a new block to it. That may have changed in some recent patches, but since I almost never use it, I couldn't tell you.

Engine stand works fine as of right now. I wont dare run any tests like compression as i had a save wipe in the past, but for basic functionality it works.
