Repairing body rust?

So i bought a car from the junkyard, i have removed all parts from the car. Is there a way to remove all the rust thats left on the body?

you basically unlock it till you get to level 35 i believe so yea, just hold off on buying cars to restore you wont make much money off them because of the rust.

It's a bit confusing since the skill level 4 already shows the welder.

I've been making pretty good money restoring cars from the junk yard. !00% chassis/motor and 75/80% body fixing all the parts I can on the body.

Now i'm new and only on level 18, but I'm not grinding. I'm just playing the game and making money flipping classic cars. Changed a few motors in the Game Editor.

But it seems I'm making $20,000 + per flip and $10,000 in bonus restore money. And I'm just guessing as I'm flipping and buying at the same time. I just know my money is growing fast and I've got 6 cars in different stages of restoration.

I tried it and i diden't really make any money, mabey like 5,000 profit.

It depends on the starting condition of the car and if you scavange for parts for it. If you get a junker from the junkyard, plus all the parts from the junkyard and fix them, you can make a killing (you dont get charged for fixing parts, its currently bugged).

Did you try with the 1.1.5 patch, the junkyard cars are cheaper now. I don't even answer the phone anymore.

I found a car for like 19,000. The body looked fine. So should i replace all the parts in the car and sell it?

is there a way to upgrade your shop to get more lifts and things like cms 2015

How many lifts do you want? In CMS2018 you get three lifts if you have invested your xp points right - one more lift than in CMS2015. You get a paint booth, a engine test room, a welder, a indoor detail fix kit (or however it is called). You only have to proceed in your career and collect xp points to spend them in to the expansion of you garage.

For those still looking for an answer, the Welder, Interior Repair Kit, and Painter are all at Level 30. The Welder (body repair) is on the far right of the shop. Interior Repair Kit and Painter are next to each other.
