What ET On the rims ?
whats the ET on the rims what buying them ?

Its called offset. Its the measurement of the inter hub from the center of the wheel.

If that makes sense to you? It's how "deep" the center of the rim is.

Zero setting is center, positive brings it outward, negative "deeper" in to the rim.

Is there any use for this currently in the game? Or does it not matter?

Seems not currently used, propably when the dyno/tuning stuff comes out, I'm guessing.

Actually it seems to be used.
There's a lot of calculation to the actual rim size including the ET (dynamically generated out of three meshes).
But it's more than I could write down here (and a lot more work to fully understand what's going on there).

I have found that et or offset is most useful in making slick tires look really good. makes then stick out giving the car a extra wide tire look. Just remember to balance your tires before putting them on or it will not mount them at first I thought it wasn't compatible with et on the rims but turned out to be 1d10t (my fault) error.
