It's an oft-repeated request from CMS15. I don't get it, either.

Also, the parts warehouse is hilariously bugged and I've not seen anything in the patch notes about it. It's so easy to dupe parts in it I stopped trying to use the damn thing. Kept duplicating my rubber bushings.

The point of storage is to clean out your inventory and it's definitely even more welcome in 18 since the part selection can be tedious if you have a lot of parts. Also, your inventory size seems to slow down the game so pushing things into storage can help alleviate that.

However, yes, the storage is super duper broken. It's extremely easy to dupe items: add, remove, add, I have two! Also the search and filter options don't work.

I suppose technically we don't need it for size (inventory is big enough), but personally that's where I store my junkyard/barn found parts I don't actively need (parts for cars I'm not working on).

I like the idea of the storage. When I am working on one car, I don't want a bunch of other parts that I am saving from a barn yard find, or other parts I am saving in general messing up my inventory. I don't see why that is so hard to understand for some people? :/

I have a Rim and Tire warehouse, a Body parts warehouse, an Engine parts warehouse. I'm in the process of making even smaller groups as well. I find it's rather nice to separate all of that stuff instead of having to try and carry everything. Makes loading the inventory a little quicker when I'm working. It is a pain to not dupe stuff though. I don't like magic parts...

yes, i am planning that too, but whats needed is a global warehouses inventorytool.
so you can see quickly whats in.
any real garage (the bigger ones) have an easy inventory lookup app.

>Actully it is easy and not rocket science.. I spoon feed it to you anyway since it is bogling your mind....

-With storage, you can hold the parts or items you want to keep or retain, so you can keep your inventory clear. With a clear inventory makes it easer to scroll up what your doing according to the job your on. The more cluttered your inventory, the more you have to go through to find the parts and items of that job.

So lets say your working on a car restoration, and you need to do some customer work to get some money in. What ever parts you can not put on yet because you need parts you have not bought can go into the storage as well as the car moved back into the PK lot or just left alone. Now the inventory is clear so you can work on the customers cars.

I personally storgae extra parts I bought by mistake and/or keep my maps in untill I am ready to go to the barn yard rummage sales. And I am sure there are many that also dose.

Now you on the other hand may not need the storage ever which is fine. But unlike you, MANY not few but MANY are grown adults that DO play the game. And some are old enough were keeping track of things in the inventory from multipule cars is just too much and easer to break it down in storage. And there are those that are young kids like yourself who feels the storage is a advantage to them to use as a stock or the same reasons as the older players.

In the end, complaining about it is wasted time. It is there, it is useful by others. It is not going anywhere. You can choose to use it, in a roll play, since this game is in FREE PLAY MODE since you created your profile. Or do not use it and go about the shop never useing it. Not going hinder you, not going to take your points away, not going to send you back to the stone age or the beggining of time, not going to do anything to you except sit in your game, while it is used by the many in their games..

So like a empty room in your house, use it, or do not use it. Easy enough..
