Barn Find - How do I make money off it?
I bought my first barn find for like $32k or something yesterday, fixed it all up to pretty close to 100% except the body panels/paint because I'm not level 30 yet. I can still only sell it for like $29k so how do you actually make any money off barn finds? I have put so much money into this thing and I don't feel like I'm ever going to make a profit off it

Yeah, barns are jacked up. you can find a junkyard for under 10k but you have to look around for it. I think there are as many as 6 and probably 8 cars in the junkyard at any one time.

you should buy the body panels and put them on the car that gives more value as well i think

with junkyard cars are they still worth buying even without welder and paint shop becuase they are most of time in worse condition than barn finds. Im yet to buy a car from the junk yard.

junkyard cars also have problems , because some new parts not showing 100% but show as " ? " when car is fully restored , so no resto bonus when selling

My Charger that I rebuild has 100% for parts, even though there are some parts showing a ?
But to get the 100% I had to inspect the oil fill cap, oil dipstick and oil drain cap. Seems when you inspect those 3, they take over the quality of the engine or something.

safe the game, leave the game, come back to the game, normally the value will be way up(that is how it worked for me at least) I bought that AC cobra thing, for 52k, restored it totally, was worth 52k... I put it into my parking lot, left the game(I totally closed the game, because I had to go), and when I came back like a day later, the value was 129k... (body panels where replaced as well, but I don't have a welder or paintbooth yet, so the cars wasn't at 100%)

Also after taking all my tires off, dismounting them from the rims, and remounting and balancing them, the tires and rims are still question marked. As are the double wishbone shock absorbers for whatever reason. And of course the engine block is although I hear this is a known glitch. No restoration bonus after restarting the game either. This has been a huge waste of time. I've lost any motivation to continue to play so hopefully these bugs will all be resolved in the near future.

did you change the tyres and wheels, or did you keep the old ones? but I think sometimes that system is bugged a little bit, also with normal orders, that when you replace it, you need to take it off again, and put it on again, for the game to notice you did actiully change it

It's a barn find, their condition was good so I kept them the same. I not only took them off, I dismounted and remounted and rebalanced them all.

weird.... and what if you try to rebuy them all? I know it costs some money, but it is worth the shot I guess...

we all do it the way we like :D i l;ike the junkyard i bought a chalenger for about 20k spent a few grand on it to fix it up and sold it for 70k so i made a good profit on it but each to thier own...yes grant it barn cars are better condition buying one for about 40k in barn you dont get as much profit as you would from a junkyard car .

the junk yard car only had some things i had to re buy but the rest was all fixed via bench
