CMS18 engine swap ? is it possible and tuner performance parts ??

im just wondering can you swap engines on cars using the engine lift does anyone know if its possible id also be interested to know if theres gonna be performance parts like we had in cms 15 in the tuner shop

Engine i did'nt tested, not even putting a Turbo on a stock r4 engine, you have to mod the game from now i guess...

And for the performance parts they will be here when all the bugs remaining will be fixed, wich will take some time unfortunately..

So while waiting for a true game... I'm playing other games.

I'm slowly grinding along getting my tank up and focusing on getter my the garage upgraded so can start doing my own cars I've been pretty lucky with bugs I've had a couple and reported them but they didn't really cause me too many problems

You cant even restore the cars at 100% if youre planning to make profit for restoring them, and the welder doesnt remove all the rust on some cars

Agh that sucks how comes u can't restore 100% ? Bug I presume ? By the time I unlock the welder it will probs be fixed lol they clam they fixed it in last patch but I still really enjoy the game so far it is very promising and has so much potential hence I just grind away and wait for the good stuff to come lol

There are performance parts already. Hidden away in the junkyard, there are three more brands that you can't buy which are either full chrome or a very vibrant red, much like in 15. Look for the Rossenta, Octarion, and Loquet brands when picking parts.

They don't currently work, but the fact that these exist and there's a "tuning bonus" in the car overview hints towards this being implomented in again, likely after they iron "some" bugs out. Interesting stuff, though.

funny you say that i was looking through the junk yard last night and i seen a red ignition coil like you had in the tuner shop in cms 15 but it was the only one ive seen so i thought nothing of it and presumed it was normal but buggy or something lol problem i have soo far is everything in junk yard is usualy 14% and i cant reapir it i dont know if this improves as you up your repair skill or garage ?

i was hoping you could swap engines with the engine lift say i had a muscle car with a v8 ohv 1 car and another with a 2 carb or a dodge there just pull the engines out with the engine hoist and put them in what ever car i wish sorta thing or even put a v8 in a rx7 etc etc i hope this is something thats going to be possible seen as you could swap engines in cms15 it makes sense to have it in cms18 especially with the hoist and engine stand available now id like to kno what the car salon is for too

agh right i have no idea about this either lol i guess youtube will more than likely provide some usefull vids on it at some point if not all ready someone is bound to do a tutorial of some kind

Hmmmm I think I'd rather the engine swap be an in game thing like I've previously described all the tools are there to do it I don't think it would be hard to implement it maybe they will perhaps it's already on the pipe line or a future doc with performance parts being added to a shop wishful thinking anyway lol

u can go into cms18 editor and select the car and at the top theres an engine tab click that then select the engine u want (disclaimer there are no hoods with cut outs for superchargers yet so youll have to remove it or itll look wierd)
