I Hit New Game on Accident

So I hit "New Game" on accident since its right next to continue and I'm trying to get back to what I already had saved but I don't know how?

I literally just did the same thing now and can't get back my old save either. So F'ing mad right now. I wish it would of asked me if I'm sure you wanna start a new game first! Idk what to do. I certainly don't feel like grinding it all over again.

Happened to me yesterday.

Check C:\Users\***USERNAME***\AppData\LocalLow\Red Dot Games\Car Mechanic Simulator 2018

See if there are multiple "profile#" folders... If so, you can just swap the names of those folders.

Obviously my fault for being in such a hurry like a junky trying to get his fix. But I feel it shouldn't of been one click and you're instantly over writing your save data and starting a new game.

Yep, you're out of luck. Multiple save games are apparently out of fashion now. One save slot is the cool way to go now again :D

Yeah, they should at least give you a confirmation button so you have a chance to go back.

Well, at the very least, there's this:

If you have lost your save, and you don't want to start from beginning - please make a profil name as:
1. cms2018promo - no tutorial, full $, full EXP, unlocked skills.
2. cms2018stage1 - level 6 / 8000$
3. cms2018stage2 - level 14 / 19000$

That's why every time after i leave the game, i just make a copy of the Unity/Profile folder.

Because that happened to me already, didn't lose much back then but was still annoyed. Next time it happens, i just delete the new profile, and rename my old backup saved one.

"New game" should be removed since we can start a new one by creating a new profile.
