TRAINER OR CHEAT ENGINE PLEASE? [SOLVED]

help, i ♥♥♥♥ing spent 17 hours on my ♥♥♥♥ing save trying to level up and all, and i did two entire cars from scratch, and then my save didn't want to start ofcourse, then i accidently pressed new game, R E T A R D E D L Y enoogh that makes your save to a completely new save and restarts everything, so now i need a cheat/trainer that can make money and xp, can someone please send? the game is already a ♥♥♥♥ing mess and my patient have been lost

I did the same thing you did. Managed to solve it through hex editing the saves. Mind you that I've never done this before, so it's easier than it looks.

1 - Go to where the saves are, at "C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Red Dot Games\Car Mechanic Simulator 2018"

There will be profiles there, from 0 to however many you made.

2 - Make a new profile, enter the game, save and leave.

3 - Look for the profile you made in the save folder, copy it somewhere. This will be your base for comparison.

4 - Go back to the game and earn a little bit of money and experience, just so you can see a change of values later.

5 - Use a hex editing program (I used HxD) to open a file named GlobalData from both the backup save you made earlier, and the new save that in the save game folder.

HxD let's compare two files and see the differences (by pressing F6 and shift+F6). I followed this little guide on how to spot the values and change them: http://www.justanotherhacker.com/articles/game-hacking---hexediting-save-games.html

I already mapped the values of money and experience:

Experimenting you'll notice that they are flipped, they go as pairs from right to left. For example, the starting experience is 4000, which is 0FA0 in hexadecimal, but in the file it's A00F. Same goes for money. The value also goes beyond FFFF, and it follows the same right to left order.

To convert hex to decimal I used this site: http://www.binaryhexconverter.com/hex-to-decimal-converter

OBS: You can add a large amount of experience, it won't bug out. You just need to take or put a part on a car, so that your experience goes +1, which will update to your new level. Did this until I was level 30, where I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lost everything.

now i have around 10Mil and level 14 like i was before the save decided to gtfo
