it wasnt worth buying anything but a 1star in reality coz you was 100% stripping anyway
As for buying cheap cars and fixing them for maximum profit, that is not in the game. The sell price calculation seems to consider buy price plus all parts purchased. I always end up making about 8k profit on a full restoration, whether is was a 14k mess from the junkyard or a 35k car from auction. It takes the fun out it.
Also, at high xp levels, the 8k profit on a restoration job is less than you can get from a single phone call job.
