Barn Finds
Has anyone found cheap barn finds yet? All the cars I find are over $30,000

The first ones I had found were under 20k. I haven't gone back in but yeah, I've heard the pricing is steep.

its pretty retarded considering buying a car on the auction in better condition is cheaper then a rusty barnfind. im not going to play the game untill this is fixed, since i dont want to miss out on the barnfinds.

i havent unlocked auctions but to my mind barn finds should only have classics in them, of which you cannot buy @ auction this would place value on barn finds

yeah , I would like to see the barn finds with less on them, as I seem to get cars more or less complete and not worth buying less the work.

Agree. Recently I have found rx-7 with rubbish condition in the barn. For only $59,999 ))

This is confirmed as a bug (or something) and in following updates they will be cheaper.

im saying make em collectables, more expensive, hard to even make profit on them full stop, limit them to only barns, and put vlaue onto owning them.

This would be stupid.

the game has always been stupid in terms of storing cars - what would be the difference ?

honestly what did you ever do with all you stored cars in CMS '2015 the whole time you owned them. this would be a slight additional passive value to owning a car that made no profit on resale (or next to nought) maluch was the same principle right

this just utilizes barns and takes it a step further

as things stand the barn gives ya a car, and you 100% restrip/build it, same as auction, same as junkyard, or you collect parts, again big deal since parts are just parts, buy find or repair just parts. but if you take the classics outta auction put em in barns only, they become rare and important.

the argument with most people isint anything beyond i make more the other way

thoughts ?

I think that some very old cars, that found in the barn, shouldn't have some new spare parts on market. Maybe in the game should be separate market for "used" parts. And there is should be some garage section upgrades which contains lathe, forge and milling-machine to create lost parts from scratch. I'm just dreaming... ))

I like your thinking - just imagine a work bench to repair cylinder heads. Do valve grinding and porting. Would be nice

I agree with Shane, Anamelash, it would have been nice if you only found classics or rare finds in the barns, at the moment I'm getting all the "classics" that I want to build from the junk yard without much trouble and at good prices and i'm only lvl 14.

Would have been nice if the price in the barn reflected the barn owners knowledge of the car, say price should be either a real bargain for the seller that does not know the value or high if the preson knows the value, making it an exciting trip to the barn that you might get a bargain or not.

Also as far as the parts are concernded, would have been nice if the older car models part were harder to find and that you have to search in barns or junk yards to get most of the parts and repair them, or as suggested a second hand retailer with parts but with ramdom generated parts that you still have to look for parts you still need or the option to manufacturing them, Yes it would have been more time consuming but just buying the parts in the store kinds of takes away the accomplisment of rebuilding a classic car.

Feels like the challenge of the game will soon be over if you can just pick up cars everywhere and rebuild them with stock parts from the market.
