Can u fit any size wheel to any car in game? Say for instance car came with 14" could u replace with say 20" or are the cars locked to certain sizes?

Yes you can screw other diameters. I believe they have a defined range and on some cars the original tires seem to be too small. I had the problem that I could not screw the original 14" tires again. With 16" tires it worked without problems.

I put 19s on a challenger with low pro racing tire dimensions. Basically the larger the rim size the smaller the profile you should use and they will fit on the car.

Can you mount tyres of different sizes? Just curious, as I don't have the money or the skills to start working on cars of my own. Also, is there any way to tell what dimension tyres a car will accept? *edit* Without buying them and trying them on?

Normally just start with the original rim type and size. I don't know a rule, but the rim diamater needs to be big enough for the brake disc/drum. As Worsin said, the bigger the rim the smaller the profile should be so the total diamter of the wheel is small enough to fit in the wheel arch.
Finally wheels are often cosmetic things... on muscle/pony cars i use small rim diameter with very big profiles so they have much rubber on the wheels ;) modern cars are often the opposite, big rims, small profile .... just invest in testing, buy some and try ;)

Yeah I had the same problem with my Viper GTS. It came with 335/35R17 when there doesn't appear to be such a size as it won't let you select that high in the tire store. Only 325/35R17. So that's what I went with. Any thoughts would help.

NM. It's probably because it was a mod and not the game car.

Actually, it needs to have the unrealistic tire size option turned on to buy that tire size
