Any way to purchase parts quicker?
It takes ages replacing parts based off of memory, is there any way to buy all the parts required?

Taking a picture of the list on the screen with your phone can be a quick and easy reference.

looks like you are supposed to be able to make a shopping list.. but that feature is, eh, broken

The shopping list feature works, but it feels a bit unintuitive. Might be because of the console-centric controls. Hope they add hotkeys for PC users.

With the shopping list the parts have to still be on the car

hmmm the shoping list feature work fine for me. I add the parts to the list before taking them off the car. Go to the pc open list and buy parts.

I am also hope the same parts with same condition can just display one with some number in inventory or when put them on the car. Especially the 100% ones, really a pain to scroll all the way to find the proper one.

What I do is take any red parts, right click and add them to the list. It doesn't seem all that bad. Better than trying to remember what you need to purchase.

The tablet is your friend here. Make a beeline towards upgrading to it, it doesn't take long. Then you can just buy the parts as you come to them in the assembly.

It is lazy devs not putting in a quickbuy, they dont want to do the programming

I do have the tablet, but it's still pretty tedious

buying things is so tedious and frusterating and time consuming that i think i'm going back to what i did in previous game. just by tons of everything. like 10x of every common part. then when i need to ressemble i only have a few things here and there i need to buy. The only problem i have with this is that there is no way to sort the items when you go to assemble mode. it puts all 100%'s first so you got to go way to right to find the one you took off that doesn't need replaced which is really annoying as well.

For me this whole inventory managment and store buying stuff even with the cell phone is biggest put off of the game. I think over 50% of my time is spent buying parts etc then actually playing the game.

What i wish game would let me do is when i click stars next to discovered parts in the parts list of an order that it allowed me to pull up a list of all items i starred in the shop. Then i could just buy all items at once in one screen instead of going back and forth or trying to horde items like crazy wihtout any way to sort them and taking just as long cycling through a million items.

I almost think it's more tedious doing inventory management in this game then it is in real life! (but then again the biggest issue i have with doing any projects in real life i have is finding all the parts/tools i need to do the job and getting them together) Why do i want this same frusteration in a video game, come on.

So after you have taken everything off the car that needs to be replaced. (Not sure if you need the table perk for this. ( i have it)) Open your inventory and right click the item that needs to be bought/replaced. This will add that item to your shopping list.

Go to store (computer or tablet (again, I'm using tablet)) and on the very right side of your screen at the top is a tab that says shopping list. All of the items you added to that list are listed there for quick reference and shopping.

Hope this helps.
