I have spotted quite a nice amount of gravedigging those past 2 weeks or so...
But yeah I'm like you....
Now that beeing said... it also means something... some do make good use of serach engines...
You'd probably get better response results had you made your own thread with a good description of what you have going on. But, I'll try and guess what your issue is.
1.) Buying Tires... when you buy the tires, there are 3 settings you make--besides how many you buy. You have tire width, tire height, and rim size.
Example: 235/65 R15
This would be a tire with a width of 235 and a height of 65% of width going on a rim of size 15. So, when you buy tires, be sure you don't forget to set the proper rim size--common mistake.
2.) Mount and Balance... Once you've confirmed what size Rims you have and bought your correct size tires, you can then take them to the tire machine and mount the tires. You then need to put them on the balancer and balance the tires. If you do not do this, you will not get an option to install those wheels on the car.
3.) Confirming Fitment on car... Here's where they getcha sometimes. Some cars will use different size Tires in the rear. Not only that, sometimes they use different Rim sizes in the rear also. You have to be extra vigilante in checking this when you go to buy new tires and when you go to put them on the car. You cannot mix n match wheel sizes between front and back. Both front wheels MUST be the same size for Left and Right. Same goes for rear ones. Front to back can be different sizes but, NOT Left and Right. It'll let you put the wheels on but, you won't be able to take the car off the lift--should get warning message about incorrect wheel fitment.
