Key mapping
Is the absence of key mapping even being considered as a bug?

I know it's only just been released, but you'd think this would be a standard feature in the game.
I use azerty. The main menu is azerty, but the game itself uses qwerty?

Using qwsd on a azerty keyboard is useless.

I hope this is being taken into account, as I have not seen any dev response on the matter.

There's a few threads on it already. It's been reported.

I must have missed them. Did a keyword search and came up with nothing.

My first thoughts were whether I could reassign the keys. I have the previous game and it was never fixed. I am assuming that this version is simply an update of the engine already in place. I'll buy it if I can change the key bindings.
PLS Support azerty keyboards.

There is an easy way to solve it temporary:
- go to windows setup -> language
- add new langage English (be sure to keep it second in the list)

Then you just have to type ALT+SHIFT just before launching the game. You will switch from
AZERTY to QWERTY (you can check it with a texte file)

Maybe you can, but remapping keys is such a basic functionality that gives very much.

Haven't thought of that. It's good as a temp solution. But they really need to get this done.

Definatly. The controls are pretty straight forward, but the lack of mapping them or even checking them is game breaking.

Checking back on this, it doesn't appear that key binding has been implemented yet, 5 months on. I won't be buying this in the near future it seems.

Unfortunately, QOL is more like SOL around these parts.

It makes my cars sad and lonely...

Try rebinding those to a controller, it does nothing. I have to set my controller up in steam for it to even be seen in the game. I hate steam taking over my controls, I am on a desktop I dont need gamepad mouse control ffs. I realize I can and have unbound the controller from desktop in steam, but it is still bs that any controller I use wont be seen by the game unless you set it up in steam first. They really need to fix the steering input for all controllers, this isn't driving as much as it is stabbing at the controller to keep it straight. lol
