Anyone know what turns this back off again, im not even sure how i got it on in the first place?

i tried that one didnt do anything - i alt f4 and reloaded in the end, but next time will try it again and the ~

Just call it a tild key lol thats the actual name for that key.. Im not tricking you, google it, the key itself is called a TILD key :D

Another "accepted" name, is the Window Sguiggle.

Lol the ~ is above my hash key next to my enter key(UK Keyboard), That does not work for me. The ` key next to my 1 does.

Well..... get a real keyboard lol This is why I said in my response you are likely using a different language, however, that is wrong, you are using a different keyboard entirely lol

This also answers my question on the shift 3 key for you guys, our keyboards dont have that pound sign on it :D Our shift 3 is #

Also, thats a laptop keyboard layout yes?
