The problem is that in other games I experience coil whine I use Vsync to reduce it or even remove it. This game has a Vsync-option but it doesn't work. I think the game doesnt use use "true" fullscreen like in other games I've used Vsync on to reduce coil noise.
i have tested to turn off vsync and it has the same sick sound on that as with vsync on.
Apparently for some people the Coil Whine can reduce over time and frequent use of the GPU.
In my case my card is just 4 months old.
After I wrote this I thought to check for a driver update and sure enough one was available. Coil whine issue was resolved after updating. Not sure what changed to cause it, but the latest NVidia driver took care of it.
