System Specs
2 Gb video memory MINIMUM - really?? I guess my 6 yr old GTX-580 with 1.5 won't cut it anymore - too bad, I don't plan to buy a new video card just yet when the one I have still works fine for pretty much everything else I play.

It's great that CMS2018 can take advantage of the capabilities of newer cards, to give people a better experience (hopefully), however is there a chance some game optimization may reduce the minimum requirements at some point? (Not suggesting the game is un-optimized, I don't know - just asking.)

your loss m8. Buy a graphics card [used market is cheap af for 2gb cards] or stop complaining lmao

not complaining, was just surprised that car mechanic simulator would be the game to finally render my card obsolete. If the quality of the graphics delivered lives up to those specs, then good! (And I'll get to it sooner or later.)

my guess is you could (?) run it with that card but the frame rate will be some what disappointing
Well just saying I have a intel integrated graphics and I played the 2015 version and ran it with no lag at all

You simply can not expect to play the newest games on an "ancient" computer.

debatable, depends on what specs and the optimisation of the game.

i guess you can play it with your card, at least on Low@FullHD... CMS15 minimum specs are: "GeForce GTX 560 or Radeon HD6870 with 2GB VRAM" and i can play it with my 1GB Radeon HD6870 on max settings @FullHD with 45-60 FPS :steamhappy:
BUT: CMS15 was DX9c, CMS18 is DX11.. so not sure :steamsad:

most games are dx11 now, but i think the majority of semi modern cards will have that support (i know a gtx 650 does)
